important thing we can do for our business and ourselves.
At Mask Hair Designs and Day Spa education has always been an important part of our structure. It is what keeps us in the for front
of the beauty industry. By our providers staying current with the trends of the industry our guests benefit by receiving the latest. The

The panel of judges consisted of Carolyn Unze and
Mark Bonan, both from Marshalls Salon Services and
Shane Bailey Krier owner, Mask Hair Designs and Day
Spa. The judges deliberated over an hour to decide the
winner.
The criteria used were effective use of Redken products,
originally of technique and presentation to fellow
providers to come up with a winner. They loved
everyone’s trend.

"HAIR DO GOOD!"
On Sunday, September 20th from 10am to 10pm MASK Hair Designs Day Spa hosted their first annual
"HAIR DO GOOD", a 12-hour hair cutting event to benefit Camp Get-A-Well-A.
Camp Get-A-Well-A is a local non-profit that brings the camp experience into children’s hospitals for seriously ill
children and children with disabilities. (www.campgetawella.org) Read more about this very special event...

“Spa Night”
Three lucky ladies' names were drawn in this spring's "Refer a
Friend" campaign, and they were rewarded for their referrals with an
unforgettable evening. To add to the fun, each of the three winners
were able to invite seven of their BFF’s to join them for a “Spa Night”
at our salon!
The ladies enjoyed a combination of services from the following:
Customized facial, massage, manicure, pedicure, hair styling and
make up while relaxing and socializing at Mask Spa for the evening.
One of the winners started her bachelorette party in the salon that
Friday evening. Watch for this opportunity to come your way again.
Remember - the best compliment you can give us is to refer your
friends and family.

Blonde Ambition 09
Our latest education consisted of using one of the Redken blonding products to create an innovative Blonde
technique to achieve a new trend for Summer ’09. The event was a contest. There were 3 people on a team
and each group came up with a new trend and performed it on a model. The trend was presented to the rest
of the team on May 11th. All teams had totally different looks. We even ended up with red highlights!

I have never seen or heard of an event like this one. It allowed the stylist to express their passion for learning new ways to use
color products as well as to demonstrate new applications that were created specifically with the Mask clients in mind. I believe
it will bring new excitement to the color clients of the salon and also create interest in the non-color clients of the salon. It was a
four star event!!

knowledge, expertise and creativity. In my mind they are all winners!
